This Cookie Policy explains how Shazark S.r.l. ("tapphost") uses cookies and similar technologies on tapphost.com, in line with the GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive and the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site work correctly, remember your choices, and — with your consent — measure traffic and support marketing.
2. Categories we use
- Essential — necessary for the site to function (security, session, load balancing, storing your cookie choices). These do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
- Statistics — help us understand, in aggregate and anonymised form, how visitors use the site (e.g. Google Analytics). Set only with your consent.
- Marketing — used for the affiliate programme, remarketing and third-party content. Set only with your consent.

4. Affiliate links
If you reach tapphost.com through one of our affiliates' links (an address containing ?aff=) and you have accepted marketing cookies, we store the affiliate's number for 90 days. If you buy a service in that period, the order is linked to that affiliate so they can earn a commission. The cookie contains nothing that identifies you, is not used to profile you and does not change the price you pay. If you refuse marketing cookies we do not store it and delete it if already present; for the WHMCSAffiliateID cookie, set directly by that link, we ignore its value when you order.
5. Managing your consent
On your first visit you can Accept all, Reject all or Customize your choices. You can change your decision at any time:
The same link — "Cookie preferences" — is always available in the site footer. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.
6. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties (e.g. Google, Meta) under their own privacy policies. We enable them only after you give consent for the relevant category.
